As a participant I can joyfully and thankfully say every word of this is true, and it makes my heart burst to know how lucky I was to be a part of a very special weekend in the Magic Field with wonderful people and horses.
This postcard makes perfect sense. Feelings of love and gratitude, however brief, are indeed precious and worth cherishing. Thank you for sharing your joy, and I'm glad your retreat was a huge success!
Goodness begets goodness Tania! The same goes for love, caregiving, bum scritches and kisses! They all tumble back and forth between you, your lovely girl herd and other lucky humans. Kind of like a bubbling creek full of goodness. So happy your retreat was a success. Hope you have a good sleep!! much love
This postcard makes all the sense in the world to me. I just live in wonder of how horses affect me. I only hope that I somehow, in any way, return the favor.
I certainly want to do this : growing in steadiness and sturdiness and calm and truth and ease and self. I picture myself in the Magic Field, breathing deeply and becoming more steady and sturdy and calm, and most of all stroking your horses as they stand tall. Thank you for sharing via the Postcard. Namaste 🙏
Thank you Tania for sharing with us. I actually felt my heart expand in my chest with you reading your words. We are so lucky to have you and your horses in our lives through your writing.
"But as I looked at the little herd, dreaming in the dazzle, I became quite weepy, because they had been so magnificent and so generous and so big-hearted and I have no idea what I did to deserve that and I had no way of thanking them in a way that means something to a horse. They got treats and love and rubs but that doesn’t touch the sides of it."
I've come to realize, at the beginning of my ninth decade, that love is Just This Mysterious. Sadly, I've become aware that for the most part, I have done it wrong. Either that or I am just clueless when it comes to those few times I did it right.
You are the magician in the magic field. I find this so wonderful for you.
I love that! You have made me chuckle. I had no idea I was the magician, but I'm going to take it. x

So joyful! Now I'm a bit weepy again. x

So beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing the joy and connection. It IS the loveliest gift of all and, I think, the whole point of being human.
Thank you so much for getting it.
Beautiful. I love a good cathartic cry when things go wrong and even more so when things go right. 🧡
That's it exactly.
Thank for this. Joy and gratitude for everything that moves us and restores hope. Your horses and my new osteopath.
That's so lovely!

Thank you for words that make me stop and think.
I could feel all of the magic in your words 🧡 just like I did in the magic field 🧡
